And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

　PPのヴォイジャーが引用していたのは全てヨハネ黙示録16章からの引用。

　第四の者その鉢を 太陽(たいやう) の上に傾けたれば、太陽は火をもて人を焼くことを許さる。

　第五の者その鉢を 獸(けもの) の 座位(くらゐ) の 上(うへ) に傾けたれば、獸の 國(くに) 暗くなり、その 國人(くにびと) 痛みによりて己の下を嚙み、　その痛みと 腫物(しゅもつ) とによりて天の神を 瀆(けが) し、かつ 己(おの) が 行爲(おこなひ) を 悔改(くいあらた) めざりき。
　第六の者その鉢を 大(おほい)なる 河(かは) ユウフラテの上に傾けたれば、 河かはの 水(みづ) 涸(か)れたり。これ日の出づる 方(かた)より 來(きた)る王たちの 途(みち)を備へん 爲(ため)なり。

　第七の者その鉢を空中に傾けたれば、聖所より 御座(みくら) より 大(おほ) いなる 聲(こえ) いでて『事(こと) すでに 成(な) れり』と言ふ。

　そして巡礼会議の際にヴォイジャーが一部引用。ウ・ドゥを『王』とたたえて接触しようとしていた。

　この引用元にあるユウフラテとはおそらくはユウフラテ川のことを指していると思われる。

• 　劇中では数字部分が出てこない。
• 　聖書は時代やヴァージョンによっては鉢が Vail という表記になっているが、bowl となっているものもある。
